I am looking for a current Duncan researcher in connection with my Finley ancestors. I have a will from Lee County written in 1843 by Robert Finley, naming a brother-in-law John Duncan of Louisa County. He lists a Catherine Johnson as a cousin of his wife Mary, but I do not know Mary's maiden name. He also lists a brother, John Finley(my ancestor), a sister Thankful Finley, and a nephew David Finley.The Finleys came to Iowa from Blount County, TN. I am also looking for someone on your county site that mentioned some 14 or 18 families who came from Blount County at the same time.I have extensive research on the Finley family I would gladly share. Any help appreciated.
