While this is not the obituary you were seeking, the following articles do concern this family. I thought perhaps there might be clues in this obituary for you to follow.
MRS. DAISY GRUNDER
WILTON- Mrs. Daisy Duncan Grunder, 63, of Wilton, dieddied at 10:30 a. m. Friday at Muscatine General hospital following a lengthy illness. She had lived the past three years with her daughter at 1317 Oakland Drive, Muscatine.Mrs. Grunder was born May 5, 1904 at Columbus Junction the daughter of the late J. Carter and Hattie Craig Duncan. She married Herman Grunder on Oct. 2, 1926 at Muscatine. Mrs. Grunder was a member of the Wilton Zion Lutheran church and a lifelong resident of the area.
Surviving are: one son, Donald of Wilton; one daughter Mrs. Richard (Patricia) Koll of Muscatine; two brothers, Ralph of Seattle, Wash., and Raymond of Columbus Junction; one sister, Mrs. William (Juanita) 0'Brien of Minneapolis, Minn.; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in by her parents and her husband.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Monday at Zion Lutheran church. Burial will be at Oakdale cemetery, Wilton. Friends may call at the Gill Memorial Home at any time.

Columbus Junction — Mr. and Mrs. J. Carter Duncan observed their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 24 at their home northwest of Columbus Junction. Mrs. Duncan was Miss Mattie (sic) Mae Craig of Mt.Pleasant. She and Mr. Duncan were married at Denver, Colo., Nov. 24, 1892. They have made their home in this community for many years.
