Glad to help. William J. Hunt is my g-g-g grandfather. I can't help but want to learn anything about his parents: Joseph Hunt and Maria (Wood) who were from New York. Also, William J.'s brother Thomas J. Hunt (T.J. Hunt) seems as though he was an interesting fellow. However, after his apparent leaving of Iowa, I've been unable to learn what happened and progeny and so on. For what it's worth, I descend from William's son Elias D., his son Eldon Hunt, his son Lee Hunt, and his daughter (my mother) Gale Frances. So here I type from MY homestead at what might be considered the end of their westward migration, up on Mauna Loa on the windward side of Hawai'i Island. Let me know if you have any good scoops, etc.
