Hello Bonnie - I am also a distant cousin, descended from a younger sister, Martha Victoria. She was one of the children who went to Kansas with Solomon. She married John Brown McNicol and they raised a family in Lost Springs, Kansas until they migrated to Alberta, Canada. My grandmother was Martha Elizabeth McNicol who married Harry Shupe. They settled in Montana. I am an avid genealogist and would love the headstone photo. Also any definitive information on Peter Kurtz (parents, birthplace.
