SYLVIA F. Plotts

Mrs. Sylvia Frances Plotts, 93, of Conesville, died Sunday, July I, 1990, at Colonial Manor where she had resided for several years.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 1990, at the Stacy-Lewis Chapel with Rev. Ed English officiating. Donna Belle Hughes was organist and Marsha Gerot was soloist.

Casket bearers were Edward Everett, Fred Everett, Joe Everett, Fred Wookey, Dave Everett and Doug Everett. Flower attendants were Audrey Staley, Lois Everett, Connie Clark, and Dortha Bird. Burial was in the Conesville Cemetery.

Mrs. Plotts was born April 9, 1897, at Conesville, the daughter of Jonas DeMoss and Rebecca Jane McKee Buser. She married Waldo Harold Plotts on August 14, 1919, in Conesville,who preceded her in death in February 1945.

Mrs. Plotts has been a teacher in Marion County, Knoxville, for seven years, in Tucson for two years, and in Yuma, Arizona, for 13 years. She was affiliated with the Grace United Church of Christ in Conesville and was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Yuma, Order of the Eastern Star at Sheridan for 66 years, the White Shrine for 50 years and the Royal Neighbors. She enjoyed raising flowers and for many years cared for flowers in the Conesville area.

Two brothers, Lenox DeMoss Buser and Warren J. Buser and one sister, Mrs. Callie Everett preceded her in death.
