Louise Reaney
COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Louise E. Reaney, 92, died Sunday at the Colonial Manor Care Center.
Services were at 1:30 p.m. today at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Tom Woodin of the United Methodist Church officiating. Donna Bell Hughes was organist. Burial was at the Fredonia Cemetery.
She was born May 30, 1897, at Columbus Junction, a daughter of Robert J. and Belle Eliason Reaney.
She was a graduate of Iowa Wesleyan College and taught English and Latin in the Burlington and Columbus Community schools.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Chapter CX, P.E.O.
She is survived by six nieces and nephews, including Robert Reaney, of Columbus Junction and Donald Peterson, of Winfield.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
