Mrs. Mary Jane Campbell, wife of Capt. William J. Campbell, of Eliot township, passes away Monday evening at 5:30 after an illness of two years with Bright's disease. Deceased was the daughter of Geo. Johnson and wife, both natives of Louisa county. On May 20, 1862, she was united in marriage to Capt. W. J. Campbell, one of the prominent residents of this county. She is a half sister of George and Merritt Deihl, of this vicinity. The funeral was held at Oakville this morning at 10:30 and interment was made in the cemetery at Northfield.
