Edward White died very suddenly at the county farm last night, July 28, 1909, at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 27 days. He was born in Clermont county, Ohio, and came to Iowa in 1865. He leaves two sons, Edward of Jacksonville, Ill., and D. O. White of Washington, Iowa; two daughters, Mrs. B. F. Toms, of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. John Crow of Muscatine. His wife died in 1876. He had been at the county home for about five years.
