Letts- David Olin died at 4 o'clock a. m. Friday. Mr. Olin resided here a good many years. He was a quiet, industrious man, very conscientious in all of his dealings with his fellow men. His wife passed away some years ago. He was born in Delaware county, N. Y., in 1828, and was a little over 79 years of age. He leaves one sister and one daughter, Mrs. Smith of Muscatine and one son, Walter, of Illinois. The funeral was held at the U. B. church, Letts, conducted by Rev. Childress, and the remains were laid to rest in the Wagner cemetery east of town.
