(Muscatine) Mrs. John Schafer was called to Muscatine yesterday by the accidental death of a cousin, Conrad Bahr, who was crushed by falling lumber in the yard at Roach and Musser sash and door factory. He was about fifty years of age and had been employed at the factory for five years and has also worked at various lumber factories in the city. He is survived by a wife and one married daughter. He was well known in the city and his sudden death comes as a great shock to his many friends.
