The remains of Edward Cody, who died in Indianapolis, Ind. arrived here Saturday morning. The funeral services were held from the home of W. H. Cody Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. W. H. Cooper, with interment in Wapello cemetery. Deceased was born in Wapello April 26th, 1861. He leaves two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Fannie Essman of Berlin, Germany, Mrs. Jennie VanCott, of Chicago and W. H. Cody of Wapello.
