Mrs. Ida Siverly, wife of William Siverly, passed away at her home near Morning Sun on Thursday, June 16th, after a lingering illness of several months duration, which she bore with christian fortitude. Hers was a noble, christian character. She united with the United Presbyterian church of Winfield, Iowa, in early girlhood. She was united in marriage to William Siverly on August 28, 1901. She leaves to mourn her loss, the bereaved husband and a little girl of two years, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Myers, two brothers, John and Frank Myers, Miss Nellie, Mrs. Sarah Jones, Mrs. Ada Schenck, all of Winfield, and Mrs. Emma Byers, of Morning Sun. The funeral services were held in the U. P. church in Winfield Friday afternoon after which she was laid to rest in the cemetery near her old home.
