J. Riley Wilson, a former resident of Morning Sun, died at the residence of his son, E. D. Wilson, in Burlington, last Thursday morning. The funeral services were held in Morning Sun Saturday. Mr. Wilson was born at Morning Sun, Ohio, March 5, 1824. At twenty years of age he moved to Morning Sun, Iowa and has resided on his farm for fifty years. About three months ago he went to Burlington and resided at the home of his son. He is survived by the following relatives: Mrs. Louise Van Cicle, Florida; Chas. H. Wilson, Great Falls, Montana; William Wilson, Mrs. J. W. Alexander, E. D. Wilson and Clarence Wilson, of Burlington; Mrs. S. W. Delzell, of Morning Sun, and J. A. Wilson, of Des Moines. The deceased was a man highly respected by all who knew him.
