Mrs. E. F. Gore died at her home in this city last Saturday morning after an illness covering a period of two months. Mrs. Gore was taken ill with spinal meningitis, and for four weeks death was expected almost daily. Deceased was born May 8th, 1865. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Weston, were old residents of Wapello. She was an only child. She was united in marriage to Mr. F. Gore on November 8, 1888. To the two children were born, Ellard and Ina, aged eight and five years. Mrs. Gore united with the Christian church when young and has ever led a consistent christian life, dedicated to the service of her lord and Master. Besides the husband and children deceased leaves an aged mother to mourn the loss of an only child. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the Christian church, conducted by Rev. M. E. Reusch, pastor of the M. E. church. Interment in the Wapello cemetery.
