Morning Sun, June 1 - William R. Marshall died at his home in Monmouth, Ill., Monday morning and the remains were brought to this place for interment Wednesday noon. Mr. Marshall had been sick for about fourteen weeks with stomach trouble. Funeral services were held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jas. Gregory Wednesday afternoon, but on account of the non-arrival of a son the remains were not interred until yesterday morning. Mr. Marshall is mourned by a wife, Cassie Orr Marshall, three sons, Charles, of West Burlington; Roy, of Ogden, Utah, and Bertis, of Monmouth; and two daughters, Mrs. James Gregory, of Morning sun and Mrs. Laura Wheat, of Fairview, Ill.
