Mrs. Jane S. McKay died at her home in Union township yesterday, September 19, about noon. Her age was something over ninety-two years and she was probably, at the time of her death the oldest person in Louisa county. Her maiden name was Duncan. Her husband was Geo. W. McKay, who died in 1855. She was the mother of William, David and George McKay, of Union township and Robert of Colorado. Her daughter, Miss Elizabeth has been her nurse and companion during her last twenty years of helplessness. The funeral will occur at the residence tomorrow, Rev. Tusey to officiate; interment at Columbus City cemetery.
