Morning Sun, Iowa - Funeral service for Arthur P. Hensleigh, were conducted at the Reformed Presbyterian church here Monday afternoon at e o'clock by the pastor, Rev. H. G. Patterson. Interment was made in the Sharon cemetery southeast of here. Arthur Prideau Hensleigh was born in England January 15, 1831 and died at his home here, October 28, 1922. Mr. Hensleigh was the third of twelve children, all of whom have died, with the exception of one brother, George F., of College Springs, Ia. He was but two years old when he came to America with his parents. They located in Pennsylvania. Mr. Hensleigh came to Iowa in 1854.

In 1857 he was married to Barbara J. Cubit and to this union were born 12 children, Mrs. Hensliegh died September 20, 1877. On November 26, 1878 he was married to Mrs. M. E. Elliott, who survives him. The following children survive: Mr. R. S. McElhinney, Olathe, Kas.; Mrs. Mary T. R. Teucher, Racine, Wis.; Mcleod M. Hensleigh, Winchester, Kas.; Miss Ida S. Hensleigh, Seattle, Wash; Mrs. Mina Gartwright, Burlington; Walter and Oliver Hensleigh, Morning Sun.
