Casper Rhymer died Sunday morning at his home northeast of Grandview, at 10:00 o'clock. He suffered a paralytic stroke about a week ago, and was 80 years, 2 months and 2 days old at the time of his death. Mr. Rhymer is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Ed Rowe, of Grandview and one in Davenport, two sons, Albert in California and E. W. of near Letts. Funeral services were held at he home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment was in the Grandview cemetery.
