Wapello, Ia.- Funeral services for the late Samuel J. Herrick, who died this afternoon at Ardmore, Okla., will be held from the home of E. S. Cristie in this city, Friday afternoon. Mr. Herrick was a former resident of Wapello, having been in charge of both a hardware store and the Sherman hotel here. He died at the home of his son, W. B. Herrick, from heart trouble, He was born in Wapello in 1852. Funeral services will also be conducted from the Bethel church Friday afternoon and will be in charge of the local Masonic lodge. Burial will be in the Bethel cemetery.
