Oakville, Ia., Sept. 15 - Chester Prindle, aged 57 years, one of the wealthiest farmers in this vicinity, died at 2 o'clock this afternoon at his home five miles southwest of this place. Pernicious anemia caused his death. Mr. Prindle was united in marriage 25 years ago with Miss Eliza Hedges of Oakville. The widow and a sister, Mrs. White Wilson, survive. His parents and three brothers preceded him in death. In addition to his extensive land holdings, Mr. Prindle was interested in banks in this community and had many large investments here. He had been a life-long member of the Methodist church and was prominent in the Odd Fellows lodge.
