Mrs. Lauena Wagner, a well known resident of Concord township for many years, died Sunday morning at one o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Paul Miller, in this city, after a brief illness. Lauena Mickey was born near Morning Sun, November 18, 1866. On November 15, 1887, she was united in marriage to Chas. E. Wagner, who survives her. She is also survived by seven sons and three daughters as follows: Noah, at home; Mrs. Clara Pfiefer, of Salem; Ben of Savannah, Illinois; Ralph, Donald, Barton, Arnold and Mahala, at home. Carl at Salem and Mrs. Erma Miller, of this city. She is also survived by a step son, Ruby Wagner, of Concord and her aged mother, Mrs. Mary Mickey, of Fredonia and three brothers, James Mickey, of Letts; Peter Mickey, of Wapello and Jesse Mickey of Bard. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Fredonia M. E. church conducted by Rev. C. L. Wilson, of Wapello with interment in the Fredonia cemetery.
