Letts, April 10 - Charles Holiday, 70 years old, a pioneer farmer living a mile south of Letts, died suddenly this morning a 8 o'clock of heart failure while he was preparing to move his household goods from his farm to the residence in Letts which he recently purchased. He had been seriously ill and last night had consulted a physician. Death came this morning shortly after he had sat down on a chair to rest after moving several articles of furniture. Mr. Holiday was twice married and is survived by his second wife to whom he was wed last winter. He is also survived by two sons, Floyd of near Muscatine and Glen at home. Several stepchildren and three grandchildren also survive.
