Oakville, Ia., March 20- Mrs. Sophia Mellinger, 89 years old, died at her home here this morning following a severe attack of asthma. She had bee ill for several months with a complication of diseases. She was a widow of the late George Mellinger and is survived by several children. They are: Mrs. John Cramer, Mrs. Robert Linder and Frank Michael of Oakville, George of Newport, Ia., John of Ft Madison and Henry of Mediapolis also survive. The funeral has been tentatively set for Thursday afternoon. The Rev. Frank Young of the Methodist church will officiate.
