Mildred Bergen, 14 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bergen of Columbus Junction, died at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning at the Bellevue hospital. Death was due to appendicitis, with which she was stricken Friday. She was taken to the hospital at Muscatine Tuesday. She was born at Riverside but lived at Columbus Junction for the last three years. Besides her parents she is survived by two sisters, Mary and Florence, and three brothers, Noah, Albert and Manfred Bergen, all at home.
