Wapello, Ia., Jan. 17- Funeral services for Albert F. Smith will be held from his late home in Grandview township, Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Jesse Huddle and Wapello Lodge No. 5 A. F. and A. M.; burial made in the Harrison cemetery. Mr. Smith was born in Joliet, Ill, November 9, 1850 and died near Wapello, January 16, 1923, age 72 years, 2 months and 7 days. He was a carpenter by trade and worked at Muscatine most of the time. He had been a Mason for fifty years, his membership being with the Joliet lodge.
