The funeral of Wm. Hendrix, pioneer of Muscatine county, took place Saturday at the M. E. church, Rev. LeMotte officiating. One week ago his wife, Mrs. Charlotte Hendrix, was buried. All of the sons living at a distance came back for the father's funeral, except Edward who lives in Horton, Kas. Interment was made at Letts.
