Mrs. Henry Hill, a resident of the Conesville community for many years, died at the Bellevue hospital at 6:30 o'clock Saturday evening following an extended illness. Death was due to a complication of ailments. She was 57 years old. Mrs. Hill, formerly Miss Minerva Curtis, was born May 12, 1855, in St. Joseph County, Michigan. She came to Iowa about 40 years ago and settled near Letts. One year later she married Edward Harrison, to which union 10 children were born, eight of whom survive. Mr. Harrison preceded her in death about 15 years ago. She married Mr. Hill about four years ago.

She is survived by her husband, six daughters, Mrs. S. E. Throckmorton, Chicago, Mrs. Chas. Hoe, Billings, Mont.; Mrs. F. A. Lemma, Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada; Mrs. H. Hildebrandt, Gilman, Ill.; Mrs. John Friandt, Fairbury, Ill.; Miss Nellie Harrison, Decatur, Ill.; Two sons, George E. Harrison, Chicago and W. H. Harrison, Gilman; three sisters, Mrs. Ollie Parsons and Mrs. Ella Furnas, both of Letts; Mrs. Mary Ann Hutchison of Augusta, Kan.; and a brother, Samuel Curtis of Blue Mound, Kan. Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the United Brethren church at Letts. Burial made in Letts cemetery.
