Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Harrison was born in Nov. 1841 and died July 5, 1921 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Maggie Berry, in Chicago. Mrs. Harrison was the mother of ten children, eight of whom survive to mourn her departure, the other two dying in infancy. Mrs. Harrison resided in Louisa county 62 years and 42 years spent in Letts, where she won many friends by her kindness to them. She has been in poor health many months and last fall it was decided best for her to accompany her daughter to her home in Chicago, where she received all the care and comfort. Her death came very suddenly. Her remains were brought to Letts, Friday morning, July 8th and funeral services were conducted by Rev. Hulse at eleven o'clock that morning at the U. B. church. The remains were tenderly laid to rest in the Lettsville cemetery.
