The sympathy of the entire community is extended to Mr. and Mrs. R.S. McDaniel who mourn the death of their son, Leslie, who died Monday afternoon, November 14, 1916, at one o'clock. Leslie was born at the McDaniel home in Concord township, August 22, 1911. Six weeks ago he was taken sick and a physician pronounce the disease infantile paralysis. Leslie is survived by his parents, and one sister, Eva and one brother Max, besides his grandparents and many other relatives. A private funeral service was held at the home Wednesday morning, conducted by Rev. E. C. Brooks. Interments was made in the cemetery at Indian Creek beside his infant brother.
