Mrs. Mattie (Mulligan) Crist the wife of Chas Christ, passed away Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock August 24, at the home of her mother, Mrs. Sarah Mulligan. her death was due to tuberculosis and followed an extended illness. Mrs. Crist was 23 years and 13 days of age. She was united in marriage to Chas. Crist almost 3 years ago and leaves her husband, her little son, her mother and one sister, little Miss Callie, to mourn her departure. Her father, one brother and several sisters having preceded her in death. The funeral was held on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Reformed church conducted by Rev. H. Butler of Nichols. Interment was made in the Cone cemetery.
