Conesville- This community mourns the death of Elmer Earl Idle which occurred at his home south west of Nichols after a very short illness. He was born at Nichols, Iowa July 24, 1908 and passed away April 22, 1916. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Idle who with a little sister and brother mourn his death. He was very kind and popular among his school mates and will be missed by them. He was taken ill on his way from school last Thursday evening and despite all medical skill he gradually grew worse until death released him Saturday evening. Funeral services were held from the home at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon in charge of Rev. Butler, of Nichols. Burial took place at Conesville where the little body was laid to rest by the side of another baby in the home.
