Francis William Carrick, the sixteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Simon Carrick, of Wyman, died Tuesday morning at 9:15 at the Washington county hospital following an operation for necrosis of the bone, which was performed early in the morning as a last desperate attempt to prolong his life. He was a bright boy, a member of the Reformed Presbyterian church at Wyman and a student in the Wyman high school. He was born in this county near Wyman, Nov 15, 1899. He is survived by his parents and one sister, Isabel Carrick. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at the home near Wyman. Interment in the Wyman cemetery.
