Oakville, Iowa, September 30 - Our community was greatly shocked to learn, early Wednesday morning that R. E. Wilson, on of our most progressive and popular farmers, had dropped dead while performing his chore duties at 6 o'clock. As usual, Mr. Wilson arose early and had gone tot he barn to attend to his duties, and when his son Ross arrived at the scene to work some time later, he found the dead body of his father. Dr. C. J. Musser was hastily summoned, but found life had been extinct for some time. Mr. Wilson had been enjoying his usual health, and his demise came as a severe shock both to the immediate family and friends. Besides his wife, Mr. Wilson leaves several children. For the past several years, Mr. Wilson and family have occupied the Pemble farm.
