Grandview, March 9- Mrs. Frances Jackson was born in Canton Barren, Switzerland in the year 1826. At the age of 6 years she came to this country with her parents who located at Kikersville, Ohio. Here she was married to John Jackson in 1844. To this union three children were born, Emma, later Mrs. Jacob Beik, now deceased, Mary, later Mrs. Edward Latta, of Grandview and Sherman of Grandview. She is survived by the two latter and Miss Nora Steel, also nine grandchild and eighteen great grandchildren and a host of friends. Mrs. Jackson was a consecrated Christian all her life and gathered around her self a host of friends and admirers. All who were fortunate enough to know her united in speaking a good word of Grandma Jackson. She departed this life March 3, 1915, aged 88 years, 11 months and 20 days. Funeral services were conducted from the home Friday, March 5, by Rev. M. C. Miller of the Evangelical church, assisted by Rev. R. V. Pike of the M. E. church and by W. H. Graham.
