After a brief illness Mrs. Everett Blake died at her home in concord township Saturday, April 25, 1914. Madeline Wagner was born April 3, 1896 and at the time of her death she was 18 years and 22 days of age. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wagner and grew to womanhood on the farm near Cedar Bethel. She was married May 8, 1913, to Everett Blake and is survived by her husband and one infant son a few days old. She is also survived by her parents, three sisters, Mrs. Etta Orr and Misses Fannie and Nelia Wagner and one brother, Pence at home, and her grandmother, Mrs. J. W. Pence, of this city, in addition to host of other relatives who mourn her summons thus early in the flower of youth to the realms of death. The funeral service was held at the home Sunday afternoon and was conduced by Rev. E. G. Brooks, pastor of the Methodist church of this city. Interment in the Cedar Bethel cemetery.
