Miss Ruth Baker. - The home of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Baker, of near Cone, was entered the second time this week by the death messenger and their daughter, Ruth was called to the world beyond after a brief illness with pneumonia. Ruth Baker was born January 15, 1900, near Cone and died Tuesday morning, April 21, 1914, just one day after the death of her grandmother. Ruth was taken sick Friday evening, April 17th with a cold which grew worse until Sunday when a physician pronounced her ailment pneumonia. She is survived by her parents, one twin sister Faith, and two brothers. Funeral services will be held this (Thursday) afternoon conducted by Rev. Bohn, pastor of the Methodist church at Cone. Interment in the Cone cemetery.
