Mrs. Ralph Hunt, of Wapello, died shortly after noon, Friday, December 12, 1913, at the Burlington hospital at Burlington, where she had been a patient for several weeks with a disease which baffled the skill of the best physicians of Chicago and Burlington. Mrs. Hunt's maiden name was Mary Pearl Parsons, daughter of Mrs. Abe Parsons of near Wapello. She was born at Toolesboro, January 23, 1885, on the 10 of September 1902 she was joined in wedlock to Ralph R. Hunt. To them were born two children, Reid L., whose natal day was July 14, 1903 and Helen Douglas, who was born September 29, 1904. Besides her husband and two children, her death is mourned by her mother, and one brother, Dean Parsons, of Oakville and one sister, Mrs. John D. Diehl of Wapello. She was a faithful member of the Methodist church at Wapello and was prominent in Rebecca and Pythian sister circles. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at the Methodist church at Toolesboro and was conducted by Rev. E. C. Brooks, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church in this city. Interment in the cemetery near Toolesboro.
