Mrs. W. R. Mulhern died November 26, 1913, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Phil Westbrooke, on West Hill. Anita Benson was born at Grandview, December 13, 1877 and came with her parents to Columbus Junction in her young girlhood. She attended the local high school and graduated with the class of 1896. She was married June 18, 1902 to W. R. Mulhern, of this city and continued to make her home in Columbus Junction until the time of her death. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Charlotte, her father, J. H. Benson , one sister, Mrs. P. W. Westbrooke and one brother Pliny, all of this city. The funeral services, conducted by Rev. E. C. Brooks, were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment at Columbus City.
