Mary I. Collis Kerr, daughter of William and Lorinda Collis, was born Mary 21, 1886 in Hannatown, Henry county, Ill., and died December 2, 1913, at her home northwest of Columbus Junction of Typhoid pneumonia. She leaves her husband J. E. Kerr and two children, one son, Glenn William, aged 10 years and one daughter, Ruth Amanda, aged 5 years, her father and mother of Geneseo, Ill., one brother, William Collis, also of Geneseo and many friends to mourn her loss. She was married to J. E. Kerr Dec. 31, 1902, also of Hannatown. Mrs. Kerr was a Presbyterian by faith and her loving and kind disposition won her many friends to mourn her early departure. A short funeral service was held Thursday morning at the home conducted by Rev. T. M. Belcoff, after which the remains were taken to Genesso for interment.
