Mrs. Alonzo Kulp passed away at her home on Walnut street early Saturday morning after an illness of several months. Marie Isabelle Westlake was born October 14, 1857 and died September 27, 1913. She was married August 7, 1906 to Alonzo Kulp, who with two children, Howard and Lee by a former marriage, survive to mourn her death, One child died in infancy. Mrs Kulp was a kind hearted woman and had many friends. She endured her suffering with patience and fortitude. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church at Fredonia, Sunday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. T. M. Balcoff. Interment in the Fredonia cemetery.
