George W. Vibber, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Vibber, now deceased, was born in Grandview township, June 23, 1865 and died June 30, 1913, aged 48 years and 8 days. He spent his boyhood days on the farm east of Grandview attending Grandview school and later in manhood continuing his education course in the Wilton and Washington schools, then teaching for some time in country schools. He was engaged in mercantile business with his father for several years. On February 26, 1896, he was united in marriage to Miss Eva J. Woodruff, taking up their residence in the bride's old home, having purchased the farm at that time and residing there until his death. To this union were born two children, Helen and Marion, who with a loving wife and one brother, Harry, of Kenewick, Wash., and three sisters, Mrs. George W. Buster, of St. Anthony, Idaho; Mrs. C. A. Arihood and Mrs. S. J. D. Latta of Grandview, Ia., are left to resign their wills to their heavenly Father's will.
