Herbert Lee, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Briggs, passed away Thursday morning after a short illness with the measles which later developed into pneumonia. Herbert was born June 29, 1912 and was not quite one year old at the time of his death. Funeral services were held at the home Friday afternoon conducted by Rev. C. L. Wilson of Columbus City. Interment in the Indian Creek cemetery.
