Geo. W. Garrett, husband of Miss Elizabeth Knaub, a former Columbus Junction girl, died at his home at Friendship, Wis., after a brief illness of only a few days. Mr. Garrett was a real estate dealer and one of the leading business men of the Wisconsin city. He leaves a wife and eight children, an aged mother and numerous other relatives. The remains were brought to Wapello, his former home, for interment.
