Miss Elizabeth Hetfield, one of the pioneer resident of Louisa county, passed away this morning at the home of her brother, Baz Hetfield, in union township, after a long illness. She was born in Indiana, Aug. 1, 1835 and died Jan. 30, 1913. She came to this county with her parents at the age of fifteen and has lived here for over sixty years. Her death is mourned by a large circle of friends and neighbors who esteemed her many virtues. She is survived by her brother, Baz Hetfield and numerous other relatives, her parents having died many years ago since which time she has been the housekeeper for her brother. Funeral services will be held at the home Friday afternoon.
