Mrs. Ella Edwards received the sad news Wednesday evening of the death of her daughter, Mrs. Margaret Ogier, wife of Lou Ogier, at her home in Garden City, Kansas. Her death was sudden and unexpected as none of her friends here had heard of her illness. She was well as usual at the latest news two or three days ago and it is supposed that her death was caused from heart trouble, though no one know of her having any trouble of the kind and she had always been a remarkably healthy woman. She was born and brought up in Louisa county. She was married to Mr. Ogier December 2, 1885, and to them four children were born, three daughters and one son; one daughter' Fern, died about six years ago. The eldest daughter, Mabel, was married not long since to Rev. Henry Balley, a Methodist minister. Ralph and Nellie lived at home with their parents. The family removed to Buffalo, Kansas, about six years ago and lived there three years, when they removed to Garden City.

Besides her husband and children, she leaves her mother, Mrs. Ella Edwards and five sisters and two brothers. These are: Harry, Mayme, Mrs. Bessie Holada, Roy, Mrs. Grace Foster, Mrs. Maude McGuire and Rose. All live in this county except Mrs. Foster at Lone Tree and Mrs. McGuire at Cilo. Mayme, Rose and Mrs. Bessie Holada live at home with Mrs. Edwards.

Mrs. Ogier would have been forty years old in August. She was for many years a faithful member of the Reformed church and was a sweet and lovable woman in every relation of life and the loss to her family is irreparable. The family are expected here with the remains sometime on Friday, when the arrangements will be made for the funeral.
