Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Reynolds arrived Tuesday evening from Cedar Rapids with the body of their little girl Alice, who died Monday noon from the effects of burns received on Sunday. She had got a match and gone out to a shed ans when she struck the match her clothing caught fire and she was at once enveloped in flames. Her mother heard her screams and ran to her aid beating out the fire with her hands, which were dreadfully burned. A Physician was called for at once, but nothing could be done to save her life and she lived only twenty-four hours. The funeral was held in the M. E. church at Fredonia Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev. J. C. Kendrick. The interment was at the Fredonia cemetery,

Little Alice was an lovable child and will be deeply mourned. besides her parents, she leaves two little sisters and a brother and many other relatives. Mrs. Reynolds hands and arms are badly burned from the finger tips to the elbows and she carries them both in slings. Mrs. Reynold's brother, Herschel, came with them from Cedar Rapids. School was dismissed during the funeral that all pupils might attend.
