After many months of sickness, Mrs. Fred Featherstone died at her home near Fruitland at 4 p. m., Tuesday, August 20. She had been sick many months; bed fast four weeks. Besides her husband she leaves three children, two sons and one daughter. These are Elmer, aged twelve; Adah, aged eight and John, three. She was born in 1871, consequently was thirty-four years of age. Her maiden name was Meeker, she being a sister of Harley and Elmer Meeker and a niece of Mrs. M. N. Rippey. Mrs. Rippey and Mr. and Mrs. Harley Meeker went over Wednesday morning to assist int he last sad services. The funeral took place from the U. b. church,Letts Thursday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Childress. Interment followed in the cemetery near by.
