Morning Sun, Aug. 30 - Stephen Hunt, one of the oldest settlers and one who lived in the Virginia Grove neighborhood for many years, died on Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. D. D. Hamilton. His wife died three years ago. His children were all present at this funeral: Mrs. Sophronia Bell and John Hunt, of Missouri. Milton Hunt, of Illinois, and his granddaughter, Mrs. Gereke. His son William lives here. The funeral services were held at the Hamilton home on Monday, conducted by Rev. Adams. Interment at Elmwood cemetery.
