page 5Wm McMahil died at his home Thursday, April 21. He was born in 1825 in Kentucky but has been a resident of Illinois and Iowa since twenty years of age. Came to Iowa in 1863 and continued a resident of this county until death came. His wife whom he married in 1847, and eight children survive him, four sons and four daughters. He was buried Friday from the Christian church of which he was a member.
