We are sorry to announce the death of A. H. Cunningham, at his home in southwest of Columbus City, which occurred Friday morning, at 1 o'clock. Mr. Cunningham was an old resident of that vicinity. He was a soldier in the civil war and an honorable upright man and good citizen. He was about 67 years old and leaves a wife and one son, a helpless charge on his mother's hands. Mr. Cunningham had but recently sold his farm and was making all arrangements to spend his declining years in Columbus City. But the end came before the change was made. His funeral occurred from the U. B. church, Columbus City, Sunday at 11 o'clock. He was associated with that organization. His wife will probably make her home in Columbus City, according to arrangements made previous to his death.
